The Sedes Sapientiae Symposium heeds the call in Fides et Ratio to take the Sedes Sapientiae as the model of philosophy. Its motto is from the 12th century Benedictine monk Odon of Canterbury.

There is now a Call for Papers for an edited volume on philosophy and/as Mary.
Occasioned by the 25th anniversary of the 1998 encyclical Fides et Ratio, a Symposium was held in 2023 on its final paragraph (ยง108), presenting the Sedes Sapientiae as philosophy’s true image.
