Mary was essential to both God's plan and a real human family, the holy family in Nazareth. How can we understand the common good, capital, work, and profit by examining her relationship to the goodness she embodied?

The conference theme can be approached via these methodological routes:

Mary and economics: proposals relate directly to the core of the Symposium. A philosophical method is used to relate her to questions in the philosophy of economics.
